So I created a bootable ISO called MediCat DVD in early 2012.

So I made a bootable DVD variety, for those finicky computers that refuse to (or can't) boot from USB. Sometimes the BIOS just doesn't support bootable USB sticks for whatever reason, even when set to Legacy Boot in the BIOS settings. However, some older hardware (and picky computers) wouldn't boot from them, rendering them useless.

That got me making multiboot USB sticks, and all was great. Until I found YUMI, which allowed me to customize my own. As a seasoned PC Technician (A+ Certified by CompTIA) in the field for 16 years, I could never find a software toolbox that could fit my personal needs. UEFI Secure Boot supported (since 1.0.I run a PC repair service out of my home called Reset Computers.Legacy + UEFI supported in the same way.Directly boot from iso file, no extraction needed.Fast (limited only by the speed of copying iso file). The program supports ISO files over 4 GB as well native UEFI and Legacy BIOS and it works with dozens of operating systems, as the developer states there have been more than 160 files tested. It is worth mentioning that the tool allows you to add as many ISO files as you want, case in which, you are welcomed by a menu following the boot. Therefore, the OS can determine that the data is booted from a virtual disk, find the source medium needed for the operation and continue to boot without having to create the standard hook, as with the classic booting.

The idea behind the program is different and entails that the information is saved to runtime memory before booting. While there are numerous tools that create bootable USB, most of them rely on the OS’s kernel which needs to access the hardware storage media for the source.
